oh yeah...Halloween

So I know Thanksgiving is next week, and we are a little behind, but i have to share...

Sweet Baby

Here is a little update of our perfect baby boy. He is getting so big and growing so fast.
We can get him to smile all the time now and he loves to talk to us and to his little octopus.

He has started sleeping 7-8 hours most nights, so mommy loves that.
He loves to hang out with his daddy.

He LOVES bathtime, especially getting his hair washed.
He likes to get his picture taken...

Happy Two Month Birthday!

WORST Birthday Ever!! Poor little Aiden. We went to his two-month check-up and he has been growing great and is looking healthy. When he was born he was in the 45thish percentile, and he has bulked up to the 75thish! He is chubbin up, he weighs 11 pounds and 7 ounces now. I can't believe how much he has grown, and so fast. So his checkup started out well, but then he had to get 4 of his immunizations and that was bad news. I don't know how I will be able to hold him down when he is older and knows that I am helping the nurses hurt him!!! Poor little guy just cried and cried!

More Pictures

He's Here! Aiden Bobby Lewis...

Yay, our sweet little boy is finally here! We went to Ogden Regional (awesome maternity care btw!) on Friday the 18th and were induced at 10am. It was a little slow getting started, but then everything just cruised and he was here at 7:20 that night. Near the last half of the labor Aiden's heart beat would drop during the contractions, so I was on oxygen to help him keep up, but other than that everything went very smoothly and we are both doing so well. He is the cutest little boy and has dark hair all over his little head.

The "Before" Shot

Waiting for him to come.

So close

So, I really haven't been much of a poster lately. I suppose it stems from being to busy and tired to take any pictures, and not having anything to post and from being huge and tired, and from freakin nesting. I swear it is getting out of control, we just can't stop ourselves...the other day we organized our spice jars and cabinet. I know. I know. But it had to be done. We are working on finishing up the nursery. Hopefully I will have the finishing touches done by next week, then I'll post some pictures. The pregnancy is so far so good. I'm huge and awkward, but I am doing awesome. He is a strong and busy little boy, and is constantly giving my ribs a shove, but we love him and are excited for him to get here!

Busy Busy Busy

We have been busy getting back into spring weather and in starting to get things ready for the baby. I decided to paint the laundry room, no reason, just needed a change. It is now light blue, and turned out pretty well. I will post a picture so that no one asks to see it because chances are this is the best that is will ever look:).

Our biggest project was to redo our garden place (who am I kidding, MY garden place) for the third time. Don't worry, it is finally here to stay (not including a possible addition). Here it is 12 railroad ties and 11 truck loads of compost later (thank heavens for Tremonton free compost week!).

So we have the crib set up and we got some bedding, now it's time to get rid of all of our extra stuff. Bobby has an electric guitar and some amps from his punk rock days that we are wanting to sell. I will post some pictures, but I have no idea what they are or what they do or how much they are worth, so if you are interested you will have to talk to Bobby when he gets back from scout camp.

Its time for a change in the bedroom...in decor I mean;). Pass the word, my bedding is for sale. It is all in great condition, but I am ready for a color change.

I'm back...

So we had major computer re-arranging and I just haven't felt like blogging on my crap-top, (we moved the mac to our real estate office). So I am beginning anew, but I am too lazy to transfer my pics from the mac or blog while I am at work. So you get the pics that I have on this computer. Sorry. Update: the baby birds are long gone. All four hatched and survived falling out of the nest and flew away in like two weeks. Not fair. I have been baking for six and a half months and I still have more than three to go. Oh well, I guess I'm not quite ready for him yet anyway. We got some pretty good pics of him a couple of appointments ago. They are a month old, but last appointment he didn't want to show his face. The pics are so funny. He is folded completely in half! His toes are touching his forehead! Oh and he is definitely a boy!

We're not the only ones expecting...

Every time I walk out of my front door, there is a bird that flys away, so the other day when I was working in my yard I was looking all over the roof for a nest or something so that our rain-gutters wouldn't get blocked. I couldn't find anything, but the whole time that I was outside there was a bird hopping around behind be like it was waiting for me to leave. Hmmm. I decided to clean my front door later that night. While I was outside I was admiring my wreath that hangs in the entry and I noticed that it looked a little more "twiggy" than usual. I started looking closer and low and behold the robin had built a nest right outside my front door. I put my camera up so that I could see if there were any eggs...there are four! So this is the first post of the baby bird saga. Any ideas for what I should do. I can't kill them, and I'm afraid to move the nest because the momma might not come back. I even had dreams about making scrambled eggs out of blue robin eggs and feeding them to the property owner I work for!!

It's a ...boy...we think...

So at our ultrasound we got a really clear shot of little baby's private parts and it really looks like a boy! However, I have heard enough stories about the doctor being wrong at 14 weeks that I'm not going to hold my breath...at least...I won't throw away any receipts...:] The doctor seemed pretty confident. The first thing out of his mouth was "Oh, there's a tallywacker (spelling?)" lol, he even said that he'd buy breakfast if it turned out not being a boy (forget breakfast, how about a free baby!). We will be excited either way, (Bobby more so this way;)).

Boy or Girl?

We're headed to the doctor again on Wednesday and he says that he is already going to look to see if he can tell if it is a boy or a girl. Since we won't quite be 14 weeks, I'm kind of skeptical, but we thought that we would throw up a poll to see who is right and wrong. From what I've heard, most people think it will be a girl, but I don't know...

Private Blogs

Attention all those of you who have gone private and who have not added me to their list, please add me so that I can see your blogs! Thanks :]

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland this month with the Lewis side of the family. It was sooo much fun, and so nice to be somewhere that had sunshine and grass and green plants and trees. I would have to say that my favorite rides were Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and California Screamin. Yay for Disney!!

Financial Peace University

Bobby has been working with Zions Bank to get a Dave Ramsey, Financial Peace University Class held in the Tremonton area. If we can get seven families or couples together, they will let him facilitate the courses. If you are interested, let us know. There is a fee, but it goes entirely toward materials. We want to be very clear that we would not be making any money off of the classes, we would just facilitate. If you would like to know more you can give us a call or check out the Dave Ramsey Website at www.daveramsey.com.

Oh Crap...

So I went to Albertson's the other day and before I went in I took my wedding ring off so that I could put some lotion on. I set my ring in my lap and of course forgot totally about it and got out to go and do my shopping. Well about halfway through my list I realized I didn't have it on my finger and all of my pockets were empty. (Cue the sinking feeling in the stomach). No need to panic though, I rush through my list and run out to look for my ring. Well, it's not under my car, it's not under the floor mat, and I cannot find it anywhere. I can't decide whether to call Bobby now while he's at work or wait until he comes home. (Yikes) Last resort I went back in Albertson's so that I could give them my number in case anyone found it and guess what!!! someone had already turned it in!! Thank heaven for honest people! So it is now safe and sound back on my finger where it belongs.
