Free phones

We have some cell phones that have just been lying around and we are wondering if anyone could use them. The orange one is an LG enV. It is the first model, so it's not the newest version, but it is in great condition, and I really loved that phone. It is a flip phone with a full keyboard. The other one is a Treo 650. This one is a little older and definitely more worn, but it still works and is a palm phone. They both have cameras...etc. They are both verizon phones, so you need to have verizon service for them to work. If you want them or know of anyone who wants them, just give me a call. 435-230-4675.

Poor Micah

We went up to our inlaw's soon-to-be cabin this last weekend to help work on it with Beau and Anbre. Poor Micah was put in his playpen every chance that we got so that we could work, and he didn't appreciate it very much. However we did get some hilarious pictures of him smashing his face against the mesh on the pen. The pictures don't quite do it justice, but it was so funny!

Bobby's stinky breath face...

I have captured it!!! Bobby has this terrible face that he makes ALL of the time. We have named it his "stinky breath face." Please if any of you see him making this icky face, MAKE HIM STOP!!!

Body World

We went down to Salt Lake to see Body World. SO COOL. It was amazing and if any of you ever get the chance to see it, definitely go!

Dillon Brough

For those of you who don't know, Bobby was a guitarist in a punk rock band when he was in high school called Edit Nothing. Well, their lead singer Dillon Brough is still going strong. He opened for Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band over in Logan the other night and we got to go and see him, it was a lot of fun to see him perform and to go to dinner with Bobby's old buddies. Check out some of Dillon's music.

Recommended Reading...

Bobby and I read this book recently, and we really love it, so much in fact, that we want to spread the word about it (FYI, we are not affiliated with Dave Ramsey or his book:)). It's an easy read and it has some easy principles to follow in order to get completely out of debt, build up a savings, and invest for retirement, while following guidelines similar to that of the church. Imagine being COMPLETELY out of debt and saving for retirement and things like childrens' education within an average of five years! If your interested, Dave Ramsey also has a radio program on AM 970 from 7-10pm.

Masquerade

We went to a masquerade last Saturday, and had a BLAST! It was so fun. All of my old roomies were there so it was great to catch up and to get all dressed up. It was put on by Crystal's family, and boy did they go all out. No masquerade is complete with out belly dancers, right?...and a dj...and food..and prizes...and a photographer. Thanks Plummers!! Or should I say Count and Countess Plumier.

Pumpkin Walk

I went to the pumpkin walk with some friends this week. There was some pretty funny stuff (and some that were pretty creepy). I think that it was a hero theme where the people creating scenes did them after one of their heroes. Nice idea, though a little weird to look at a Moses pumpkin parting the Red Sea (or cornfield) and then to turn around and see a slightly stoned looking Bob Marley pumpkin. To each his own...

My favorite, the Noah's Ark pumpkins. Checkout the pumpkin bums on those elephants and the tumbleweed sheep

I Need Some Help!

So now that I have finished school and my internship and everything I am really starting to get into being a realtor. I am excited to get going with selling houses and with being an even better property manager. Here is the deal, the market kind of stinks right now, so I can use all the help I can get. If you know of anyone looking for a house or thinking of selling then send them my way or give them my phone number. Or if you know of anyone that needs an apartment, I rent 2 & 3 bedroom townhomes. Thanks to everyone in advance! Referrals=Free Dinner (Maddox, Hamiltons).

Tag, You're It!

Just to begin, sorry to Ashlee for being so SLOW in being tagged, but here goes. Here are the rules for being tagged: list 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 surprising facts and then tag five other people.
3 Joys
-Being with family and just having fun.
-Alone time with Bobby.
-When I work hard to get something done and it turns out well.
3 Fears
-Spiders--All of them. I have gotten better, I can't smash them or squish them, but I can vacuum them, spray them with chemicals, and sometimes kill them with by electrocution fly-swatter.
-Bobby dying.
-Getting in a car crash.
3 Current Obsessions/Collections
-Lost, the TV show
-Reading
-Chocolate:)
3 Surprising Facts
-I once had a sewing needle stuck in the lining of my hand bone backwards. Ouch.
-I am rather clumsy (surprising, I know, but it's true) I consistently run into door jams and fall of beds.
-I hate when soda is called "pop." "Pop" is a sound, not a beverage.
5 people
Brandi, Brandee, Jen, Michelle, and Jessie

Island Park

This last weekend we went to Island Park to help build my in-law's cabin. Holy cow that is a lot of work!! The cabin will be fantastic when it is finished, but there is still a long way to go. I was a little worried about someone getting hurt with all of the saws, machines and people on the roof, but we made it safely through the weekend, and it was pretty fun. Brady is chain-sawing (Yes, a chainsaw, there is no messing around up there!) a large piece of wood in one of the pictures, that is for the mantle above the fireplace. They had a big crane thingy up there so that we could reach the top of cabin, and that was almost as good as a fair ride, Bobby is posing as he goes up.

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

Bobby and I have been going swimming at the natatorium in the mornings to get some exercise. We even bought some goggles! Don't laugh, goggles make you swim faster and kick harder. It is definately a good workout, so we are excited to be getting more in shape. The only bad thing is that I smell like the nat all the time! You wouldn't believe what I have to do in the shower to try and get the stink off of me, so apologies in advance if anyone has to sit too close to me.

Do you think he'll notice...

So Bobby has never been one to notice a new haircut or color, but I can't help thinking that he will notice this one...

Chivers' Family Reunion

We went down to Yuba State Park for a family reunion last week. It was a blast. We got to go boating, which rocked, and we got to see everyone that we don't get to see very often. After playing in the sun the first day, we went and shot dynamite and had a family trap shoot. I'm not going to lie, I know it sounds kinda white trash, but it was so much fun. Very good stress relief to blow something up. Bobby rocked it on the shotgun shooting. He only missed one out of fifty. Woohoo!

Long time no blog! So summer has been super busy! (Isn't it always?) It has been great though, I love summer! Too bad we can't have ten months of June weather! This past weekend Bobby and I went hiking in the Uintahs with some friends. It was a blast. We saw some mountain goats, elk, and even a momma bear and her cubs. Scarey! It was crazy hard, but we got some great pics! Hope everyone is having fun in the heat!

What a trooper:)

I am always giving Bobby a hard time about having a "caterpillar" between his eyes.  Obviously it is never that bad, but things can get a little hairy sometimes.  Anyway, Bobby actually let me just wax in between his eyebrows! It took a lot of convincing, but I finally got him to see that one quick strip is ten times better than a million plucks.  He doesn't look very amused in the first picture, but he's a stud for doing it.

Yay, Mike!!!

My little brother graduated from Riverton High this last week, so I got to go down to his ceremony.  Congratulations!!!  I know it was a lot of hard work, but we are proud of you!  What a stud.

Our Garden

We expanded our garden this year (I know it's nothing compared to yours, Dad) and it is really starting to grow.  It has been kind of tempermental this year.  I had to dig up a section of corn and replant it because it wouldn't grow. And then I have found that beets and carrots are wimpy weak little seeds, so who knows if they will survive.  Curse you vegetables!!  But, all is well, I spotted a corn sprout yesterday.  We have planted peas, potatoes, zuchinni, cucumbers, tomatoes, asparagus, carrots, beets, corn, beans, peppers, and jalepenos.  Yum!
