Every time I walk out of my front door, there is a bird that flys away, so the other day when I was working in my yard I was looking all over the roof for a nest or something so that our rain-gutters wouldn't get blocked. I couldn't find anything, but the whole time that I was outside there was a bird hopping around behind be like it was waiting for me to leave. Hmmm. I decided to clean my front door later that night. While I was outside I was admiring my wreath that hangs in the entry and I noticed that it looked a little more "twiggy" than usual. I started looking closer and low and behold the robin had built a nest right outside my front door. I put my camera up so that I could see if there were any eggs...there are four! So this is the first post of the baby bird saga. Any ideas for what I should do. I can't kill them, and I'm afraid to move the nest because the momma might not come back. I even had dreams about making scrambled eggs out of blue robin eggs and feeding them to the property owner I work for!!
